Thanks for this Stuart. It's really well written and interesting. I didn't know a lot of that stuff - just fragments of it.

Phil and I used to go around to see Alex along with Craig Duffy in Meadfoot road abut 1974 / 5 and / 6 for a sunday discussion - with Phil's spiritual side and Craig's Marxism and Alex's artistic angles it always made for interesting but heated discussions! This was a year or so before he disappeared with the Moonies.

John Gravenor of Wandering John went also to Finland etc with them - Neil O'Connor has put something on his Vox blog about the trip to Finland and has written a song for Alex - I will send you the links.

Oh my name Teasdel not Teasdale but everyone gets it wrong so don't worry!

Now you mention I have a vague memory of seeng football stuff around the house but didn't realise his passion for Cov City was so great. I remember going to see Cov play Wolves with my Dad while still at school.

Thanks for the positive feed back Trev (I have altered your name to the correct spelling). I can remember Phil mentioning a guy name Rich a lot and I have a vague memory of meeting him once or twice. Any idea who he could be? I can also remember Nicky Hawkeswell??? I think he played base but not sure. Any info on Nicky? I am sure he moved to London at some point as I am sure Phil went to visit him once or twice.

Thanks

Stu
