RIOT ACT

Another excellent and well written history Stuart. This is the kind of stuff we need to document the Cov Scene. I remember you being into T Rex and Cockney Rebel and then Anarchy in the UK came out. It was your single but Phil played it to me when I came round. It seemed to be a seminal moment for you - the next thing I knew Phil was dragging me off to Warwick University to see Riot Act perform with a range of Cov punk bands including the Flys (who had just been on the Grey Whistle Test performing Molotov Cocktail). I know that because Neil O'connor and the Flys got the same bus as us and told Phil about it. Phil was really proud of you that night.

I remember seeing Penetration at the Locarno. Can't remember if Phil went also but I remember seeing Desmond from Selecter there for one.

Thanks again for the comments Trev. I know that you offered to put a blog on the Coventry Music History page and I would be honored if you would. Please feel free to use any of the information from my own to create yours. If you require a photo or anything just ask. As you can see I am writing the band history stage by stage but hope to have it as good as complete within a few weeks.

One favour to ask. How do you create an audio that play automatically on opening the page? Similar to the one you have on Phil's page for the "Moon Song."

Thanks an advance

Stu
Great stuff

Enjoyed the continuation. You are an amazing storyteller. This gives a great insight into the creation and development of the band.

Hi Stu

Dave Hearn put me on to this blog. Interesting read. As your roots were in Binley Park School, I'd like to link it to my BPS Website. Could I use a couple of the pictures?

Mick McDermott suggested you might be going to the reunion on the 7th?

See you there maybe

Neil

Hi Neil, a link from the the BPS site and any pics that you want would be fantastic mate. Feel free!! Really like the BPS site and I do log on and check it out now and again. A really nice bit of work mate.

Sorry I can't make the reunion but I am sure that you will all have a great night anyway.

Stay Lucky

Stu
